Career start

His career took a jumpstart in 2008 with a trance remix of Eddie Sender's "Aliencity" [Inspired Records] that got huge support from world famous DJ Dave Pearce. He played it out gigging as well as several times on his Dance Anthems show on BBC Radio 1.

In 2009-2010 Vanity In Mind released electro house and downtempo singles and the album Lounge Garden Sessions on Italian label Purha Records. The album contained two collaborations with Swedish vocalist Frelow. His downtempo music gained popularity and was included in compilations and played in DJ sets and on radio stations all over the world. San Francisco-based chillout radio show Below Zero interviewed him.

Planet Perfecto support

During 2010-2011 he released several trance singles, and the uplifting trance track "Radiance" included a remix by trance star producer Steve Brian, out on Real Music Recordings.

The release was supported by the world famous producer & DJ Paul Oakenfold who played it on his Planet Perfecto Radio Show, which is syndicated to radio stations all over the world.

Vanity In Mind was also twice asked to do a
guest mix for Dave Pearce's iTunes trance podcast Trancecast, an honor he shares with some of the biggest names in electronic dance music, such as Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Darude, Ronski Speed and Super8 & Tab.

Legendary British label

In June 2011 his original release "Let The Darkness In" was out on revered British trance label Nukleuz, together with a Cut & Splice remix, and it was immediately supported by accomplished trance producer & DJ Jonas Hornblad on his monthly radio show. The release was quickly followed up by "Electric Sunrise", his second trance release on Nukleuz.

In 2012 his vocal trance/progressive house crossover track "The Sun, The Moon (feat. Johan Dahlberg)" was released on Los Angeles-based label Lyon Echo Records, and in November that year, Vanity In Mind made his first appearance on label Morrison Recordings (a label established by Glenn Morrison, of Deadmau5 “Contact”  collaboration fame), with the two tracks 'Beyond Arcadia' and 'Big Room Rebel'.
